Prue is a registered psychologist committed to providing compassionate and effective therapy for adolescents and adults.

She takes a client-centred approach, ensuring that every individual feels genuinely valued, heard, and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.

 

Prue is passionate about building authentic connections and fostering a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients can feel safe to explore challenges and work toward growth and healing.

Prudence Perrin is a compassionate and experienced Registered Psychologist who takes a warm, practical, and evidence-based approach to supporting clients across all stages of life. She is deeply committed to helping individuals build resilience, improve emotional wellbeing, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity.

Prudence believes that therapy is a collaborative journey toward understanding and growth. She tailors each session to her client’s unique circumstances, using a combination of proven therapeutic methods and genuine empathy to create a safe and supportive environment.

  • Anxiety and Panic Disorders – Helping clients manage anxious thoughts and regain a sense of calm and control.

  • Depression and Low Mood – Supporting individuals to overcome negative thinking patterns and restore motivation and joy.

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) – Assisting clients to reduce compulsive behaviours and improve day-to-day functioning.

  • Body Image & Eating Disorders – Promoting healthy self-esteem and balanced relationships with food and body image.

  • Grief and Loss – Providing compassionate support through bereavement and major life changes.

  • Emotional Regulation Difficulties – Guiding clients in developing tools to manage intense emotions more effectively.

  • Adjustment Issues & Life Transitions – Supporting individuals through periods of change, such as career shifts, relationship changes, or relocation.

 

Availability

Prudence consults every Friday at Classic Way Family Practice, offering in-person sessions and telehealth appointments (subject to eligibility and availability).

 

Referrals & Billing

Prudence is a registered provider with:

  • Medicare – Mental Health Care Plans accepted

  • WorkCover Queensland

  • Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) – self-managed and plan-managed participants

Out-of-pocket fees may apply depending on your coverage. Please contact reception for more information or to confirm eligibility.
